What we count

We use Cloudflare Web Analytics to count how many people read each page. It is cookieless. It sets nothing on your device, keeps no identifier for you, and cannot follow you to any other site.

What we can see is that a page was read, roughly where in the world from, and which page sent you. What we cannot see is who you are. There is nothing here to opt out of, and if you asked us to delete your data we would have none to find.

Our tools will never leave your browser

The Migration Kit and Switch Calculator, when released, will run entirely client-side. Your file will never leave your browser. There will be no upload and no account. We will never see your contact list, and we have no server to store it on even if we wanted to.

The other half of this question is who pays us and whether it changes what we recommend. That is answered in full on how we test.
