Flodesk
The best looking emails, but nothing free to send with
Design-led email for people who care how the thing looks in the inbox. The free plan builds forms and landing pages only: by their own FAQ it does not send email.
Is Flodesk right for you?
Where you sellNo direct connection to any of the four. Kajabi is listed, but their own page says it runs through Zapier, which is a separate subscription.
Use Flodesk if
- Your course already earns enough that a monthly bill from day one is not the problem.
- You write to your people regularly, not just when you have something to sell.
- You want to be able to change your mind later without losing anything.
Don't use Flodesk if
- You want new subscribers to get a welcome email automatically, and you are not ready to pay. MailerLite does that for free.
- You have no budget yet. There is no free plan here at all, only a trial. MailerLite is free to 250.
- You sell through Teachable, Kajabi, Podia or Thinkific and want the two joined up without paying for Zapier as well. None of those four connect directly: Kajabi is listed, but through Zapier rather than a direct integration. Kit lists all four directly.

The details that decide it
The things that bite six months in, read off Flodesk's own pages. Where we could not read a page reliably, the row is left out rather than guessed at.
- Works with where you sellintegrations
- Their integrations directory lists 15 native integrations: Shopify, Canva, Instagram, Squarespace, Wix, ThriveCart, Manychat, HoneyBook, Interact, Marvelous, Session, BookFunnel, BDOW!, involve.me and Grow by Mediavine. None of Teachable, Kajabi, Podia or Thinkific is among them. Kajabi appears only as a suggested Zapier connection, not a direct integration. Source
- What else it costs
- Nothing on top of Stripe for selling: their FAQ says Flodesk adds no transaction fee to Stripe's own rate. The cost that catches people is the plan itself, which upgrades automatically as subscribers arrive. Their help page warns that subscribers added after you cancel an annual plan can still push you up a band and trigger a further charge. Source
- Getting your list back outEasy to leave
- Cancelling does not delete anything. Their help page answers it directly: your data remains safe and all your content will still be available. You drop to their free tier, which keeps your forms collecting subscribers but cannot send email, so the list is held rather than lost and stays frozen until you pay again. Source
What other people scored Flodesk
Not our scores. These are the public ratings on two review sites that have no connection to us, read on 6 September 2026. Each one links to the page it came from, so you can check it and read the reviews there.
- G24.8 out of 54.8
302 reviewsRead them on G2
- Trustpilot4.9 out of 54.9
364 reviewsRead them on Trustpilot
Both sites land within 0.1 of a point of each other, so the two sets of reviewers broadly agree.
We do not average these into one number. A blend would be our figure wearing someone else's authority, and it would hide it when two sets of customers disagree. Scores move, so treat the date above as the age of the reading, not a promise about today.
Flodesk, answered
- Does Flodesk have a free plan?
- Not one we could confirm. Their pricing page showed none on the free plan when we checked on 9 September 2026. The cheapest paid plan is Pro at $25/mo.
- Can Flodesk send an automated welcome sequence on the free plan?
- No. Their FAQ says the free plan has no workflow automations. If an automated welcome sequence is the thing you need on day one, MailerLite allows it free.
- What does Flodesk cost once the free plan runs out?
- The entry paid plan is Pro at $25/mo, billed yearly for up to 1,000 subscribers; $28 billed monthly. Prices on every platform here move with list size, so treat that as the floor rather than the bill.
- What is the catch with Flodesk?
- Two catches. Their pricing table lists email sending on the free plan while their own FAQ says the free plan does not include it, so read the free plan as forms and landing pages only. And their pricing page currently serves two different plan line-ups from the same address, one with a cheaper Lite plan and one without, so check which one you are actually offered before you commit.
